FAQs & Studio Policies

  • What are the age limits for classes?

We offer all of our Try It classes to students 9 and up. For younger or older students looking to do anything on the wheel, please keep in mind when signing up that this does require upper body and good grip strength. Age limits for recurring classes are 16 and up. Age limits for memberships are 18 and up.

  • Do I need to bring anything with me for my class?

Students are not required to bring anything but are encouraged to:
    - Wear clothing they do not mind getting dirty and won’t get in the way
    - Have long hair pulled back
    - Have their nails trimmed—especially for wheel classes

  • Where can I find a gift certificate/how to I redeem it?

Gift Certificates can be purchased here and redeemed with the code provided on our booking page.

  • When can I pick up my piece?

Please allow for a five-week period for general Try It Class pieces to fully dry out and be processed through their firing cycles. After this time, you’ll be contacted via text for easy pick-up to enjoy your piece.

Refund Policy

Date Nights and Try It Classes require a 72-hour notice of cancellation to receive a full refund, after which and up until 6 hours before class start time students can reschedule.  After this, we have a no-show, no refund, no reschedule policy.

Recurring classes require a two weeks notice prior to the start date of class for a full refund.

Studio Etiquette

We strive to create a friendly, helpful, non-threatening atmosphere and accept all guests, students, and members. All guests, students, and members are expected to pitch in when needed with cleaning (even if it’s not your mess), help each other or lend a hand, and are expected to adhere to our code of conduct: please remain courteous, clean up after yourself thoroughly: clean your wheel and surrounding area, sweep/mop around, make sure to wash all items you used and return them to their appropriate places, wipe down work tables, wash out the sink. Generally, if you make a mess, clean it up. Do not touch anybody’s work on shelves without their permission.
